I just had my crazy moment last weekend. It’s those experiences that you’ll just laugh once you reflect back and look at what had happened. God seriously wants me to crack up laughing no matter what we’re in right now. Like, God wants me to ease up and not think of the bad side of life and just laugh once in a while. (In the family, though, we’re ALWAYS cracking up!) Anyway, here goes with what happened last weekend:

Saturday, we went to Tito Andy’s house for a get together since they just got back from the Philippines. I was completely bored and was hoping all the time I brought the laptop with me. Crazy moment #1: when I wished that I saw my youngest brother playing with a PSP and I borrowed so to lessen the boredom. But there was no Tekken in Carlo’s PSP… so I borrowed Ate Reg’s PSP. Then my brother had this whole thing connecting the two PSPs and we played Tekken. My youngest bro got bored and borrowed Tito Andy’s iTouch. I was like O.O!!! I was like to my brother: Wanna play tekken? Can i borrow? Random, I know. So we swapped. I got all excited inside and played with the iTouch. Ok… Apple always makes me crazy… I’m a mac freak, what can I say? Anyway, crazy coz after wishing I brought the laptop, I actually went online using the iTouch… I know… random… LOL

So anyway, when we went home I got all too excited to work on the new layout of Vanessa-Hudgens.ORG since it’s the first time I’ve done some designing since over a month ago. I boot the laptop and as soon as it reached the password thing, it went blank and closed. I was so gutted when I restarted it never did… O.o I was soooo frustrated I didn’t get a chance to go online and just finish the layout. I tried the power switch million times, but it did not work. My brother knew it wasn’t working, my dad tried it as well. So we pretty much all know that it wasn’t working. See crazy moment #5 below.

I fell asleep at 3am, I think, feeling sooooo bad. The next morning, I was a little late for church… But surprisingly, I was alive. Ha! Well, not a surprise anymore actually. Ever since YFC, I started becoming more alive in church. I was a bad catholic. LOL… Back at home we went looking for the receipt of the laptop so we can have it changed (it’s on warranty for 3 years) but with NO luck! My dad was having a bad mood because he was totally in need of a laptop to look for a job. Not my fault the computer went crazy. So we spent hours since the Saturday night looking for the receipt when…

Crazy moment #2: My dad called my godmother after lunch and told everything about the laptop and asked if she has the receipt… and *insert famous evil music here* she has it! Dad brighten up and asked my mom if she wanted to go to the city with him to have the laptop checked or changed. And HELLO! They’re going to the computer shop… I HAVE to be there… so I asked if I could come.

Crazy moment #4: All laptops are on SALE that day… It was those moments I wish I have money so I can just grab the laptop and pay. And yes, MacBook Pro was also on sale. O.O!!!! I played with the Macs while waiting for dad to take care of the laptop and estimated the prizes of the macs. I evaluated and have decided to go for the MacBook Pro 13″ or 15″… It costs about 2300-2900 approximately. Mom and Dad said they’ll help me get one once we get our permanent residency. Gosh, the things this PR thing could do: I could go to school now, I could work and I could get my own laptop!

I enjoyed my time just looking around the computers… Well, actually at the MacBooks coz none of the Windows PCs caught my attention. They are so 2008! Lol.. kidding. But with my plans to be a filmmaker, I think Mac is waaay better than windows. iMovie is millions better than Windows Movie Maker, seriously! I tried and used both already… I’m not kidding. What got my interest also was the camcorder. I saw this Sony camcorder… It costs 3k but it was totally awesome! I could do my video projects there. I just fell in love with it! I’m sooooo going to save up for it.

Crazy Moment #5: After feasting my eyes with a bunch of MacBooks, Dad was no where to be seen. He didn’t let us know that he was with the technicians trying to see what happened to the laptop. When he got back inside the shop, guess what he said to me. It was WORKING!!!! They opened the laptop and viola! It opened. It got up until the password thingy up to dad’s desktop!! What was that?!?! We like went to the city for nothing… Okay, not really nothing, I went out of the house after being bummed out, I was able to feast my eyes with the computers and see crazy moment #6.

We lingered around the shop for a while. Looked at computer softwares (SHOCKS!! I saw adobe premiere! It’s sooo cool! I want one. I’m so going to save up for it), televisions (Heath Ledger was on screen :D ), speakers and a whole lot before leaving. Bus was at 16th minute of the hour and we still had 15 more minutes or more, I think. I asked my mom for Starbucks coz I soo miss it now. She bought me Caramel Frap. Yumm *licks lips*… So I went in the food court to wait for my parents when…

Crazy Moment #6!!!!!: Dad saw Acin in the CD store and I saw she was with friends… Realized it were Alaek, Elyk and Anaoj… Ok… Weird names?? Those AREN’T their real names. I hid them… Coz 1, Not all of them are internet freaks like me, so they probably don’t wanna be mentioned and 2, I don’t want to sound… err whatever.. who knew, *cough* is probably reading this. My best friends know what I’m talking about… So yeah, they were there so I went all (yes, I mean it when I say I totally went crazy here) and get to hang out with them for an hour. I asked my parents if we could stay for a while (i was like “you’re hungry, right dad?! Come on… U said you were hungry!” When he actually didn’t… Hahaha). So they had dinner, I hang out with my friends. I hang out with Alaek the whole time and talked about what we could have talked about through text. But since I don’t have credit in my phone anymore, we couldn’t talk. Bummer! It was like we haven’t seen each other for years, when the last we saw each other was June 6. Ok that was weeks ago, it felt sooo long. I only get to see them once a month… Lucky if we get to go and hang out on a weekend.

What’s cool about these people is that they are TRUE friends. We may not all be the closest best friend type, but they are seriously the coolest people. Usually, if I see familiar faces in the mall or something, I’d be too shy to join in for a short talk or something. But it felt different with these friends. They’re even asking me if I would like to eat and join them. Elyk kept on asking if I’m sure I don’t want anything (which by the way, was sweet and of course I went crazy inside lol). But, yeah… LOL

No matter what the weekend was like (losing the laptop for a short while only to find it’s actually working and going to the city… for not the exact purpose you went there), God keeps you smiling at the end of the day. I seriously couldn’t help but smile the whole Sunday night… Seriously, no matter how and what, God answers your prayers even if it’s as simple as wanting candy or as big as traveling the world. He still answers it… at the right time. And sometimes, He’ll answer you by putting you in a funny experience just like what I had and you’ll end up cracking up laughing.

Music: Only Fooling Myself – Kate Voegele
This song is sooooo me! *And I like to pretend that… One day i’ll turn around I’ll see your hand reach out, I’m only fooling myself. And maybe when you smile it means you’d stay a while…” Seriously… Sunday afternoon… this was me and still am
