Okay, enough about Auckland and on with what’s up.

Funny how things worked out. I was looking through my blogs and tried to search for some progress. Thankfully, I found some. I usually just start off with 3 blogs and then I’ll leave it all behind. Anyway, so as I was flicking through my blog entries and I found an entry dated June 10, 2009 titled Off To University? It’s been more than a year ago and funny how, right now, at this very moment, I’m dealing with the same thing. It’s been a year and I’m still not a student. :/

Things changed, though. Back then I said I wanted to be a Film and Theater student. This time around, I wanted to be an Interior Designer. Praise God I didn’t go to school last year, or I will just waste my time taking the wrong course. It’s been just a few months since I decided on majoring in film that I changed my mind to Interior Designing. It makes perfect sense taking it, though, since I have been designing rooms since I could move furniture in my room. So I stick with it, now I can’t imagine myself doing anything else. Maybe because I’ve already imagined myself doing everything, there’s nothing left to imagine.

We’re still waiting for our permanent residency. How I survive another year of no school? I don’t know. But yah, I survived. I have been doing sketches of houses and furniture to help me improve artistically. I’m still trying to do some sketches of interiors. But all these are just copies of photographs. I practice so I can sketch using my imagination. Also, work kept me busy but I’m leaving soon since it’s affecting my health. I will look for another job just in case uni won’t come for me this year again. Another year of no school? I have no idea what will become of me by the end of next year.

I am hoping our residency will turn up before December 10. That’s the date of the last day of enrollment. But this time, I won’t expect anything anymore, I won’t plan anything anymore. I’ll just let it flow and leave everything to God. And whatever His plan is, I will trust in Him.

Just had a little hang out with Majoe and Ivy on December 3. We first went to Vic Uni to inquire about courses, which gave me a little frustration but all good now. Still want to continue with Interior Design in Victoria.

Intercontinental Hotel was our next stop coz Majoe needed to give her application form to Kuya Buba. Then we freakin saw this ahmazing store, Little Acorn! Damn!!! The designs, the colors, the fabrics, the furnitures, the books, everything! It’s there!!! Awesome!!! I’m soooo going back there.

Then waited for Kuya Led in the Central Library before having lunch with him Gosh we were sooo full simply by just laughing. Haha! Man, Kuya Led’s awesome. Glad we spent time with him event if it meant not having the time to go to Massey. Haha! We finished the day by doing Neos in Timezone and photoshoot at warf, thus the image above.

Just had a little fun with fashion that day, though it’s an old style of mine. I figured the long sleeved shirt, skinnies and boots suit best the rocker look of the hair. Too bad my skinny jeans isn’t so skinny anymore! YES!! The workout’s working out!!!

I’m at Ira’s place at the moment having our sleepover since for like a year now! Hahaha, a dear friend of ours just got back from Australia and it’s cool seeing him again. I missed John sooooo much…

Well, at this moment, I was just looking through facebook not really knowing what to do. I should be sleeping by now since I have to wake up at 8 coz I’m going uni hopping with Ivy and Majoe tomorrow! Err more like later since it’s 2am.

Well yeah, we’re going vic and massey tomorrow since we will go inquire about CUP and courses for next yr. I’m still wishing for permanent residency for Christmas so HOPEFULLY we get it coz i really want to go to school

Oh and speaking of Christmas, check this out:

Oh and I’m gonna go put the photos up sometime from the YFC Step Up and today’s sleepover. And i’ll go talk about the Step Up sometime soon… Its the best ever!

Edited: I just got back from Vic University and what can I say? I AM REALLY EXCITED! Well, the word we used today actually was ‘desperate’… Yes. I was pretty much desperate to go back to school. Some of my friends have said I was lucky to not have school. But seriously… If you know you want to establish yourself and mind to the chosen career you want, you will want to have school no matter how much freedom you’re having.

Freedom = boredom. You are free to do whatever you want, yes. No school, no home works, no tests, no school nights, no requirements to finish on due date. But not really. No school means alone at home, no hang outs, no productive works, and you’ll just get lazier and lazier every minute. Back then, I was enjoying all of these because I get to focus on Vanessa-Hudgens.ORG. Every single minute I was away from school, all I did was websites and designs. I’ve been doing that ever since 2004 even while attending school. But as soon as I realized what I was missing for the past 3 years since I graduated from High School in the Philippines, I craved for University learning. (And to be honest, I was suppose to get my degree next year if I was studying in the Philippines).

I was at a meeting for YFC (Youth For Christ) and three of my friends in there were sitting on the floor by coffee table with loads of papers all over them. They were all busy working on their university papers, homeworks and essays and one things came in my mind: How cool is that?! Okay, it may not be what you would think, but I’ve been all laidback and chill throughout the year since I finished school last year, and guess what? I feel like I know nothing anymore.

Earlier today, as I went to Vic University, I never really thought I’ll feel the university vibe as I had weeks ago since I know there’s a small chance I’ll be going to school next sem, which is next month, by the way. But the -very friendly- Liaison officer have given me additional hope. He said to let him know as soon as possible once we get our permanent residency within June ’til the 27th of July. That gave me hope that MAYBE I’ll get in next semester. Who cares if I miss two weeks of school? At least I’ll get in this sem. So fingers crossed so I can get into university next sem.

For my university study, I have chosen Film Studies and Theater as my major. Why? Coz it’s something different from what my friends and family are taking. My sister just finished medicine, my brother just finished statistics, my younger brother will probably take hospitality and my youngest brother is still deciding but it’s in the line of math or criminology. None of my friends are taking up film studies making me the only one in the group. I don’t feel left out, I actually felt pretty unique.

So yeah, fingers crossed and I’ll just update to whatever’s going to happen to my learning future. I hope I’m not late to start in the film industry after graduating or late to be in Hollywood. Thanks to who ever reading <3
